The Japanese publishing date will be Oct 25. I don’t know the specifics of when exactly pre-publishing will begin on JNC, but I expect the digital e-pub will be out ~March and the print edition ~July.

Magician Yakagi Suimei has accomplished his goal of returning to modern Japan from the other world. Upon arriving at his home, he reunites with his disciple, the homunculus Hydemary. Together, they head to the magicians’ organization, the Society, and Suimei meets with the leader, the Magicka King Nettesheim. He seeks permission to return to the other world once more, but…?!
Also, Suimei is passed down an arrest order for mystical criminals trying to manifest divinity in the world. Suimei was weakened because of the different laws of the other world, but this is modern Japan – and with his original powers back in hand, it’s time to enforce judgment!

I thought Hydemary would look more like a bisque doll. Looking forward to how her personality turns out. Sumei probably influenced her too much for her to still be like in the short story

This is amazing news. I was just telling my wife how I had really enjoyed this series and was so sad that it might be stuck in limbo for who knew how long, and so I decided to check to see if there was any new news just in case and tadah! Haha. I am so glad I did. I really hope that this volume is as good as the others. Also, I hope that this means that whatever issues that delayed this book have been resolved, and so the next volume in the series will come in a more regular timeframe. Thanks again for everything Hikoki! I look forward to reading it as soon as it’s available.
